Best moment in golf so far: The Junior Ryder Cup was amazing!. My partner and I had to win our match to tie up the final score with eurpoe. I made a long putt on the 17th hole for birdie and the rest of my team went crazy! My partner Tony Finau, let me make the final putt on 18 to win the match. It¡¦s something I¡¦ll never forget.

College Ambitions: I want college golf to take my game to a new level so that I can leave feeling prepared for a professional tour. I want to grow as an all around individual and become the best that I can be.

What are some lessons that golf has taught you? First of all, Dedication. Golf is a lot like life, there are so many ups and downs and it¡¦s easy to just give up, but if you keep going and keep faith, you¡¦ll be rewarded. The desire to be the best that you can be is important. Patience, to look at the big picture, and that a little bit of heart can go a long way.

If people don't count as things, I would take my golf clubs, some kind of cellular phone that could get a signal (I suppose I wouldn't really be stranded then, would I?), a book, and a picture of Jesus to remind me what I have to look forward to"

Greenleaf received POY honors for the boys' 13-15 division for the second consecutive year. After playing in seven events on this summer's series, he finished with 1,330 points. His highlights for the year include 5th place at Old Waverly in West Point, Miss., and Stone Creek Golf Club in Urbana, Ill., third place at Westbrook Country Club in Mansfield, Ohio, and second place at The University of Georgia Golf Course in Athens, Ga. Greenleaf was champion at the Air Force Academy's Eisenhower Golf Club in Colorado Springs, Colo., and the final event of the year, Muskogee Country Club in Muskogee, Okla. On the standings in second place is Tim Crouch of Mount Vernon, Ohio with 725 points.

“It was my goal again this year to get Player of the Year. It feels good to accomplish a goal,” said Greenleaf. “I played my game one shot at a time and had fun this summer. For next year I'd like to take advantage of the opportunities that I give myself.”

Who introduced you to golf?: I started playing golf when I found plastic balls around the house and decided to give it a try, Up until then, baseball was my life, but I caught the golf fever. Because my dad is a pro, he tool me occasionally to hit balls, and eventually I started to play.

Best moment in golf so far: Competing in the Westfield Junior PGA Championship for the last two years. Being a part of that level of competition is an amazing experience.

Phillips grabbed her first POY honors for the girls' 13-15 division after traveling around the country to play in seven Junior Series events earning 1,585 points. She was crowned champion at three tournaments including Las Vegas Country Club in Las Vegas, Westbrook Country Club in Mansfield, Ohio, and Yankee Hill Country Club in Lincoln, Neb. At Stone Creek Golf Club in Urbana, Ill., she received second place and at the Air Force Academy's Eisenhower Golf Club, she placed fourth. Phillips has been traveling with her parents and older brother J.W. Phillips in an RV the whole summer to play in PGA Junior Series events. Rachel Powers of Quincy, Ill., was second with a total of 1,115 points.

“It was a really good experience to travel around to different states and play in different tournaments and meet new people,” stated Phillips. “My favorite tournament was Stone Creek Golf Club in Urbana, Ill., because I liked the course and played well there even though I didn't win. My goal for the summer was to shoot under-par. I was close last week, but still haven't reached it.”
